Mr.
Stephen Valentino serves the Company as its Founder and Chairman and as the
on-air Host of “Let’s Celebrate”. Since 2000, Mr. Valentino has also
served as CEO of his family’s Company, The Valentino Group, Inc., a
benefits-consulting firm that has placed billions in pension assets.
Since 1996, Mr. Valentino
has been the Entertainment Editor of QSF Magazine and in 2002, he
became a Contributing Editor to PASSPORT Magazine as well. His
regular column, “Serves You Right”, was created as a vehicle to interview
the world’s most prominent Chefs, review cookbooks and cooking
paraphernalia, as well as the hottest restaurants and nightspots.
He has appeared in leading
roles in operas, plays and musicals worldwide. He has been seen in
films, television commercials, Public Service Announcements, and heard in
voice-overs for both television and radio. Since 1999 he has Hosted
“San Francisco In Flight” for a major international airline.
For years, Mr. Valentino
studied all aspects of jewelry creation; from alloying and
reposée to buying and setting stones. He has studied with some of the
most noted jewellers in the world, including Carrie Adel, the winner of many
de Beers diamond design awards.
As the CEO of Valentino
Productions, he mobilized Hollywood stars to benefit such organizations as
Easter Seals, the Special Olympics, Toys For Tots, Mothers Against Drunk
Driving, and the Make A Wish Foundation. He is currently on the
Advisory Board of the Richmond/Ermett Aids Foundation, and he’s been
recognized by United Nations Secretary General U Thant for his efforts for
UNICEF. Mr. Valentino served for four years as a California State
Senatorial Commissioner on the Business Insurance Advisory Commission.
After graduating from
William Floyd High School, in the top 1% of his class with a Regents
Diploma, Regents Scholarship, and as a Merritt Scholar, he attended Hofstra
University in New York on full scholarship, majoring in music and
minors
in drama and speech. Mr. Valentino later studied voice privately in Los
Angeles with famed German operatic Baritone, Horst Günter and from 1974
until 1977 he attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He has
received grants to study and perform at the American Institute of Musical
Studies in Graz, Austria, and the Banff Festival in Alberta, Canada.
At the Banff Festival, Stephen had the honour of performing for His Royal
Highness, Prince Charles, of England.
